In the upper part of the Tuscan Maremma, in the municipality of Monterotondo Marittimo, immersed in the green Metalliferous Hills, we find "La Contea", a finely renovated, harmonious stone complex overlooking the valley of the Cornia river, the sea and the Tyrhennian islands. Originally a large, old farm, today it has become a company producing organic products: fruits, olives and chestnuts.
Where there were once stalls, granaries and lodgings for farm labourers, we find the main house and 9 apartments with old wooden beams carefully furnished in Tuscan style.
